Examination and Evaluation

For first-time patients, this is an important getting-to-know-you phase. It usually consists of a thorough review of the patient’s medical and dental history and taking X-rays necessary to help reach a definitive diagnosis. Most first-time patients would need a full set of intraoral radiographs, which will be handled by well-trained dental assistants. Once the X-rays are developed, Dr. Medina will review the images and discuss the findings with the patient. It is also at this stage that fees are determined. Dr. Medina’s competitive fees are based on the prevailing fees for the required procedure and also on the type of insurance coverage the patient has. For patients who do not have insurance coverage, Dr. Medina’s regular fees will apply. Fees can not be quoted over phone as it varies based on each patient’s customized needs.
